TAJSA ROMA PRIZE & 8thERIAC GENERALLY ASSEMBLY
8th ERIAC General Assembly | Bucharest, 2025 What an unforgettable gathering of spirit, culture, and shared purpose. This year's Assembly culminated in a luminous celebration at the Romanian Athenaeum, where the air itself seemed to shimmer with beauty, the TAJSA ROMA CULTURAL HERITAGE PRIZE.The evening was lifted by the breathtaking performance of the extraordinary violinist Antonio Piculeață, whose interpretation of Mozart and other masterful works filled the hall with fire, elegance, and emotion. Every note carried the weight of heritage and the promise of what Roma artistic excellence continues to bring into the world.Beyond the music, the Assembly offered meaningful encounters and deep conversations — including an inspiring exchange with the Minister of Labour, Family, Youth, and Social Solidarity of Romania as well as powerful moments shared with remarkable figures such as Sonja Licht, a renowned activist and cultural leader, Carol Silverman, whose research and dedication have long honored Roma culture and history. Dr. Delia Grigore.I was proud to participate as a member of ERIAC, representing our organization Art Bridges, and to stand alongside so many visionary artists, thinkers, and change makers. Grateful for the music, the dialogue, the brilliance of the community — and for being part of a future shaped by dignity, creativity, and our shared cultural pride.Thank you European Roma Institute for Arts and Culture - ERIAC and ERIAC TEAM
